CAMPING BY THE LAKE

Holly and her brother Tom went to the cinema on Friday because it rained all day. They saw a scary film about a family who went camping in the forest. In the movie there was a ghost who scared all the families who camped by a lake. Tom didn’t like watching it and he closed his eyes all the time. The next day, their Dad said that they were going camping by the lake for the weekend. Tom thought about the film. He didn’t want to go camping. He sat in his room. His Dad said, “Come on Tom! Let’s go.” But Tom didn’t want to go. His mum packed his clothes and put them in the car. When they went to the campsite, he saw his best friend Jake. They were camping by the lake for the weekend, too. They went fishing together and played games. They built a campfire and sang songs. When they went to sleep, he was so tired that he slept immediately. When he woke up in the morning, he wasn’t worried about the ghost anymore.
