Cave Crisis

This summer on June 23rd, 12 young boys between the ages of 11 and 16 went into a cave in Thailand with their football coach. The weather changed very quickly and they could not get out. Their families were very worried and upset. A group of divers from a variety of countries searched for 9 days trying to find them. On the ninth day they found all of the group. ‘You are very strong,’ the divers said. One of the boys said, ‘Thank you.’ The boys stayed in the caves eating liquid food, and they drank fresh mountain water, so they could get stronger. They were frightened because they had to learn how to swim and dive . After nearly 2 weeks underground they met their families again in the local hospital.
