Celebrating Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving is a very important day for us. I have many family members and they live all around the world. Some of them live in the USA and some of them live in Canada and Portuguese. When it is Thanksgiving time, we always meet and have so much fun. It is in November so it is a great chance for us to come together. When we meet in the USA, we always come together at my grand aunt’s house because she has a huge dining room. We need a big dining room because we celebrate this celebration within 30-40 people. We have a great dinner and in her house there is a woman and she helps her with cooking and cleaning so it is easier for her. We don’t have a special food for this day because my grand uncle knows what everybody likes to eat the most so she prepares delicious meatballs, lamb, chicken, turkey, vegetables and salad. At the end of the night, we take photos and we all share these photos in our family group. I love spending time with them.
