Champion Again

My name is Tim. Our primary school has biking competitions for students every year. There are competitions for three age groups of boys and girls: Group 1 are 7 to 8-year-olds, Group 2 are 9 to 10-year-olds and Group 3 are 11 to 12-year-olds.

There are two competitions every year. One is in November and the other is in spring, in May. I’m 10 years old. Last year I was first in my age group because my bike was new and very good. This year my bike is one year old. I rode it every day last summer, so I know it can have problems this year. But I want to do my best. I’m ready!
