CHANGE YOUR ROUTINE
I agree that routines are important and organise our lives, but we need to check them regularly. Why? People feel sad every day, and they don’t know the reason. Maybe they are bored with their daily routine, so it is time to change it. How can you do this? Here are a few tips.
• Do something different each day! There are different things you may try. For example, make a list of friends that you don’t hear from regularly. Make a list of them and start calling. Another example is starting a book you wanted to read but never had the time to.
• Say yes to something you would normally say no to! Many people are strict about their rules and don’t change them. For example, you go to bed at 9 pm every day, and your friends want to watch a movie. Say yes to them and change your sleeping time to 10.30 pm for that day only. Why? This changes your routine a little and makes you happy.
• Wear colours you wouldn’t wear! Scientists say that colours change our mood and energy level. Try different colours. Wearing different colours make you feel confident too.
• Eat something new! There are wonderful and delicious foods around your area. You can check the restaurants in your neighbourhood and try their food. Maybe you can find a very different food far away from your place. Don’t panic. It is time for a short trip. This time, you travel and taste different food.
