Changing your job may not be that difficult for you. Maybe you have already changed your job a few times. But have you ever changed your career?

Some people decide to change their career because of many reasons. Maybe they lost their jobs or there aren’t any position openings in their own field. 1) .......................... Maybe they think that they want to do something else. Whatever the reason is, it is not as easy as it seems.

What should you do if you are thinking of changing your career? First you need to think carefully about why you want to change your career? Is it because you couldn’t find a better position? Is it because you don’t get paid as much as you want? Is it because you have understood that it is not what you want to do for all your life?

2) .......................... . Don’t just choose a job because you think it pays a lot or it is fun. Talk to people from that field and learn what they actually do. Then think about your own education and skills. Are you skilled enough to manage that job? Then consider working conditions. Is it an indoor job? Do you need to work after working hours? How much money will you get? Will that be enough for you? And the final question: are there any job openings in the field you want to try? 3) ..................................

When you change your career, you may take an entry-level position. You may get paid less than your job before. Some people struggle a lot when they change their career. They get orders from younger people. 4) .......................... They also think that they are under more stress than their old jobs.

5) .......................... They don’t think about what skills they need. They don’t even learn what that job requires them to do. Some of them become successful but some of them become very unhappy. When you want to make a very serious decision like this, think twice!
