Some people don’t know anything about Chile. It is a country in South America. Chile is very famous for its food. Some chefs in the capital of Chile are trying to make Chilean food more famous in the world. Santiago is famous for its street food like steak sandwiches and hot dogs with creamed avocado. Chilean food is normally not very spicy. They are usually very simple but also very delicious.

There are a lot of world famous restaurants in Santiago now. One of them is called Peumayen. Many people think that their food is very strange. They use old recipes in the Peumayen.
