CHOICE OF HOLIDAY

Hi, my name is Anna. I’m planning my holiday for next summer but I don’t know if I should have a lazy holiday or an exciting one. Last year, I went on holiday to northern Italy with my best friends, Alison and Kate. We stayed in a brilliant bed & breakfast place, which had a spectacular view across the Venice canals. It was more expensive than normal B&B’s but we really enjoyed ourselves and we met great people there. This year, Alison is going away with her parents to Spain so it’ll be just Kate and me. Kate wants us to go on an adventure holiday in Switzerland, the type where you go hiking and camp in the mountains. She said it would be a great experience and better than having a lazy holiday because we would keep ourselves active and be in nature. I am not sure whether I want to go to Switzerland. For me, a holiday means relaxing on a beach, not hiking steep mountains! I think she fancies doing something in nature. I’ve got to make up my mind by next Saturday at the latest so that she can book the tickets. The whole trip would cost around £ 500 each to travel and buy camping equipment which is quite cheap, actually.
