Computers at Schools

A computer is an electronic device that can store and process information. Today, we see the use of computers in classrooms more and more every day. We can’t ignore the importance of technology in education. Students learn better and increase their analytical skills by using computers efficiently at school.

Almost all students love computers. For them, their computers are an important part of their lives. Computer literacy is as important as any other basic skill for students. The important thing is not just to have a computer but to use it in a correct and appropriate way.

As the computer is not a teaching machine, the teachers and the school administrators should determine the role of it in schools carefully. Children are getting used to playing with computers starting from very early ages. Because of this, schools must provide basic information on hardware in the first years of school. They should also include basic training on computers each year to develop their abilities. Nowadays most schools have computers, but the issue is how to use them. Unfortunately,

the answer is not that pleasant in many cases. As most of the teachers don’t have enough training on computers, they can’t integrate them into the classroom in an effective manner.
