CORY’S CHOCOLATE-CHIP COOKIES
Cory Nieves also known as "Mr. Cory" always wanted to make the world a better place to live for everyone. That dedication, combined with his love of treats and an entrepreneurial spirit, made him the owner of ‘’Mr. Cory’s Cookies’’ at just six-years-old. In 2010, Cory Nieves was only six years old when he told his mother that he was sick and tired of taking the bus to school and he wanted to buy himself a car. In order to save up for a new car, he made a business plan. He started selling hot cocoa in his free time to raise the funds in his local town of Englewood, New Jersey. His mother, Lisa, realised that he was taking his business seriously and she decided to encourage him even more by supporting him every way she could. He, soon, decided to enhance his product range by adding lemonade, cookies and other treats for his loyal customers.
Cory and Lisa spent about a year learning how to bake, testing original cookie recipes and developing their very own, special chocolate-chip cookie recipe. It was all-natural and made from high-quality ingredients, and most importantly, it tasted great! Since the creation of the new chocolate chip cookie recipe, Cory has added more all-natural flavours for his conscious customers: Double Dark, Oatmeal Raisin, and Sugar with more to come! His cookies paved the way for Cory to work with the country’s biggest food companies and brands such as Aetna, Bloomingdales, and Macy’s.
Cory is now much older and has become a socially conscious young person who cares about the world issues. He works with non-profit charity organisations, such as Bergen's Promise in Rochelle Park, New Jersey and the Children's Aid Society in New York City to serve his community.
