Country Life

My name’s Stacy. My family moved to the country last week. I’m bored here. I am a city person. I grew up in Boston, but now I am a teenager in Claremont, Massachusetts. 695,000 people live in Boston. 1,200 people live in Claremont. Everyone on my street is over 60 years old. There are no kids. My class has only 4 students. My mom said I will make friends, but there is no one to be friends with. My house is big and beautiful, but I liked our apartment in Boston. We moved here because my dad doesn't like city life. He loves Claremont because there is a big mountain. He paints pictures of it every morning. I don't think my mom is happy here either, but she tells me she likes it.
