Dear Susan,

I hope you are doing well. I am finally in Italy, but unfortunately alone. You know Mark and I planned to go on holiday to Italy for a week. We were going to meet at the airport. I arrived at the airport earlier, and started to wait for Mark. Half an hour later, I sent a text message to him because he was late. I asked, “Where are you, Mark? I am at the airport waiting for you.” He didn’t answer for nearly fifteen minutes, so I called him. He answered the phone in a sleepy voice, and said, “Hi Mary, I am so sorry, but I think I won’t be able to come because I just woke up. Last night, my best friend had a big party, so I went there. There was a very famous DJ, so we listened to his music. I slept really late because we met the DJ after the party and chatted with him. I even took a picture with him!” I said, “I am really disappointed, Mark. I can’t believe you left me alone at the airport.” Mark said, “I am terribly sorry, Mary. I promise I will come tomorrow, and we will have our holiday together!” I am really sorry because Mark didn’t come with me, but I know he will come tomorrow, and we will have a good time together.
