Dear Vesna

Dear Vesna

Moving is hard work! Mum and I are still unpacking boxes. She and I were packing them just eight weeks ago!
Your picture is on my desk. I really miss you.

Our new house is in a town called St. Cloud, Minnesota. The neighbourhood is very quiet here compared to Mumbai,
even though there are lots of shops nearby. The weather in July is warm and sunny, and there no rainy monsoons.
My brother and I can go to the cinema together, but I don’t have any friends here.
Mum has already met the neighbours but I find it difficult to make friends, you know. Luckily,
school starts soon, so I can meet my new classmates.

What else? This house is bigger than the one we lived in before. I have a room on my own,
so I don’t have to share it with my brother any more.
Mum is happier too because she loves gardening and there is a garden,
where she can grow flowers or any plants she likes.

Dad started his new job as a surgeon at the hospital here. He looks happy with it.

The only thing that make me unhappy is that you live too far from you and I won’t be able to see you very often.

Hope you can visit me soon.

 Your best friend,

 Jenny
