Different People

This is Liam. He wants to become a guitarist. He loves rock music and dislikes hip hop. He hasn’t got a guitar, but he imagines playing the guitar in a band. He always puts on his headphones, listens to music, and plays the guitar in the air. Every time you ask him about good music, he suggests listening to rock bands. When he goes out with his friends, he never stops talking about his favourite bands.

This is Jennifer. She’s a filmgoer. When she’s with her friends, she always fancies watching a film with them. She doesn’t enjoy action films much, but she’s crazy about cartoons. She knows the names of famous cartoon characters and never stops talking about them. She sometimes imagines being one of them and talks to herself. When her parents ask, ‘Where should we go this weekend?’, she always suggests going to the cinema.
