DIWALI

Hi, I’m Aadhya. I’m from India. My favourite festival is Diwali – the light festival. Every year, we celebrate it for 5 days during October and November. We play card games and wear special costumes. We give each other coconut sweets called ‘barfi’. We light decorated candles and lamps called ‘diyas’. At night, we go outside to watch the fireworks.
