Do mobile phones cause cancer?

Some people are worried about mobile phones because they think that these gadgets can cause cancer. But can they? 

There are three reasons why people are worried. Firstly, radio waves which are a form of energy are sent and received by mobile phones. These waves are absorbed by our body. Secondly, every year there are millions of people who start using mobile phones, and this increases the amount of radio waves around us. Third, the people use mobile phones more and more in their daily lives and talk longer and longer. 

Scientists have studied the effects of mobile phones and radio waves on our body. Most of them say that there is no reason for us to worry about mobiles phones because radio waves are low-energy.  They have less energy than X-rays, so they are less dangerous. However, no one is sure about it. Doctors recommend that people should try to make shorter calls with their mobile phones, keep their phones away from their heads and make phone calls when the signal on their mobile phone is strong.
