DREAM JOB
Tommy, Susan, Cathy and Sam are in the garden. They see an ambulance on the street.
Tommy: Look at the ambulance. I want to be a doctor when I grow up. I love doctors. I can help people. I can wear a white uniform and I can work in a big hospital.
Susan: I agree, Tommy. I want to work in a hospital, too. I want to be a nurse when I grow up. Nurses help doctors save people’s lives.
Sam: It’s difficult and boring to be doctor or nurse. You need to study hard to be a doctor. You need to work long hours in the hospital. I want to be a photographer when I grow up. I love freedom. I want to work in nature. I want to take photos of every beautiful thing. I want to have a high-tech camera. What do you want to be when you grow up, Cathy?
Cathy: Well, I haven’t decided yet. I can be a singer because I can sing well. I can be a pilot because I love flying. I can be a journalist because I like interviewing people. I can be an actress because I love acting. I can’t be a firefighter because I’m afraid of fire. I can’t be a businesswoman because I don’t like working in an office all day long. What do you think I can be when I grow up?
Everyone: Just be our friend!
