DURU AND ANIL

This is Duru. She lives in Antalya. She is a nine-year-old girl and she’s good at horse riding. In the photograph, you can see Wind, her horse. Duru loves going to the countryside with Wind. She rides her horse every weekend. Having a horse is more difficult than having a cat or a dog. Duru cleans her horse’s barn every weekend. She also washes her horse in the summer and combs him. Horses need a lot of exercises. She likes feeding her horse. Horses eat green grass or hay.
Duru doesn’t like riding her horse in the winter because the weather is cold and rainy. She says spring is perfect because she likes feeling the warm sun on her face. Every year they take Wind to the vet. Wind doesn’t like the vet because sometimes the vet gives him some shots. The wind gets very nervous. On the days they go to the vet, Duru always gives her horse some pears or apples. The fruit is Wind’s favourite food!

 

This is Anıl, Duru’s brother. He is 10 years old. Anıl likes hip hop dance and music. He started to dance when he was six years old. He is also good at break-dancing. He wears comfortable clothes when he dances. He hates wearing shirts and trousers. He wants to go to dancing school and learn more about dancing. In his free time, he loves listening to his favourite hip hop singers like Jay Z, Eminem and Snoop Dogg.
He also likes singing. Anıl doesn’t like outdoor activities very much. He doesn’t like playing football or basketball like other boys like to do. He says music and dance are his two favourite things in the whole world.
