Ella Button

This week, Ally is in Los Angeles. She talks to Ella Button, a talented young actor and the star of Jack Stewart’s new film “The Magic Crystal”.

Ally: Ella, you’ve lived here for over a year now. What do you think of life in LA?

Ella: I love it! I’ve always wanted to come to Hollywood. It’s a dream come true.

Ally: You started acting professionally three years ago. How long have you wanted to become an actor?

Ella: I’ve wanted to act in films since I was a child. When I was at school, I used to make short films. I wrote and starred in them. My brother was the cameraman. He used my dad’s video camera.

Ally: Who was the director?

Ella: My dad! He’s always dreamed of making movies!

Ally: And now you play the main character in Jack Stewart’s new fantasy, “The Magic Crystal”.

Ella: Yes, it’s great to be in it. I’ve been a fan of Jack’s for years! I saw my first Jack Stewart film when I was twelve. And now I’m here working with him! I can’t believe it!

Ally: Do you miss your family in the UK?

Ella: I miss them a lot! I’ve been away from the UK for ages. I haven’t seen my brother since April.
