Ella's Birthday

It’s Monday, December 5th. It’s Ella’s birthday. Ella is so excited. Her parents invite all her friends. It’s a

costume party. Ella is wearing a pink princess dress. Her friends Kim and Ken are wearing

pirate costumes. Her friend Jenny is wearing a rabbit costume. There is a big birthday cake on the table.

Ella’s friends shout “Happy birthday Ella!”. Ella blows out the candles on her cake. She gets lots of presents.

She opens them. She has a new dress, a pen, a nice book, a green hat, and a doll! It’s a beautiful doll. She

plays with her friend Jenny. Jenny wants to play with the doll. Suddenly, it breaks. Ella feels so angry. She

cries. She is sad. Her dad comes and asks “Ella, what’s the matter?” Ella says “My doll is broken!” Ella’s dad

fixes the doll. Now, Ella is so happy. Jenny is happy, too. They have fun together. Then they feel hungry.

They eat a piece of cake. They feel thirsty and they drink apple juice. They sing and dance. They spin around.

They feel dizzy. It’s an amazing party!
