Emergency Room

Nurse Brian: Hello doctor. We have got 5 patients in the emergency room.

Dr Rose: Oh, dear. What happened to them?

Nurse Brian: First, we have got Mrs Perry. She sprained her ankle while she was crossing the street.

Dr Rose: Poor thing. She is pretty old. We should have an X-ray immediately. I hope it turns out to be nothing serious.

Nurse Brian: I hope so, too. Next, we have got little Jimmy. He was at school when he sprayed himself in the face with paint.

Dr Rose: That’s a shame! He should stop being so naughty.

Nurse Brian: After that, we have got Mr Frost. He pulled a muscle while he was riding a bike.

Dr Rose: It might not be that bad. He comes here every week. He is very accident-prone but he is strong.

Nurse Brian: Later on, we have got Judy. When she came to the emergency room, her arm was all red. She scalded it with hot coffee.

Dr Rose: How awful! Let’s put some cream on it.

Nurse Brian: OK! Lastly, there is George. He got sunburned when he fell asleep on the beach.

Dr Rose: Oh, no! Let’s treat them all immediately.
