EMILY'S FAMILY

Hi, my name is Emily and I am twelve years old. My mum and dad are both doctors and they work a lot. They usually leave the house very early, at 6 o’clock in the morning. When they leave home early, it is my responsibility to help my little sister Suzy in the mornings. She is only seven years old and she needs my help.

I usually wake up at seven o’clock, wash my hands and get changed. I make breakfast. Suzy wakes up at 7:15. She usually eats fruits and cereal for breakfast. After breakfast she gets changed and I brush her hair. We clean our rooms and make our beds. We also feed our dog before we go to school.

After school we go home and have lunch. I clean our dog’s kennel and Suzy feeds her again. When our dog is hungry it barks and makes a lot of noise. After that I have a shower and get dressed. Then Suzy has a bath. She likes playing with bubbles in the bath. She gets changed before our parents arrive.

When my mum and dad come home together we make dinner. After dinner we go out for a walk in the park with our dog and talk about our day. We are a family and we love helping each other.
