ERIC AND HIS DAD

ERIC AND HIS DAD

Eric: Dad, tell me about your childhood. Did you like school when you were a kid?

Dad: Well, I was a naughty kid but I liked going to school. I liked learning new things.

Eric: Did you like learning languages when you were in primary school?

Dad: Yes, of course I loved learning a foreign language. We had English, German and Spanish in my school. My favourite one was Spanish. It was easy to learn. I also liked my Spanish teacher.

Eric: My favourite language is French. It can be difficult, but it’s very cool. What about using computers? Did you have computers in your school?

Dad: In those years, we had I.T. lessons, but we had two hours in a week. The computers were big and slow in those years. You are lucky. You have lots of computers, laptops, iPads, and mobile phones. You reach the information with a tap of your finger.

Eric: Yes dad, we are so lucky. We like technology, it helps us a lot, but I love reading more than computers.

Dad: That’s great, son.

Eric: What about you dad? Did you like reading when you were a kid?

Dad: Umm, no I didn’t like reading. I had lots of books but I didn’t read. I liked playing sports. My favourite hobby was playing basketball.

Eric: My favourite hobby is basketball, too. Let’s go out and play together!
