Everyone has a wish
Everyone has a wish. Even the people whose lives seem perfect in every way have dreams and wishes. Some of these wishes come true, some don’t. Some people have big wishes, some have small ones. Some people’s wishes are about work whereas some others have wishes about love. Below are two people whose wishes have come true.
Dave Johnson: Some time ago I had a manager. He was great at his job. He knew a lot of things and knew how to get them done. The problem was, he had anger management issues. He would take out his anger on the team. He used to scream at people in front of everyone else. He lacked patience and empathy. I was always hoping that somehow he should disappear. Two or three weeks later, he announced in a meeting that he was quitting. There are no words to explain my happiness and joy. I was over the moon!
Gloria Branson: I was a little kid when I saw the movie Notebook starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. And like every other girl, I deeply fell in love with Ryan Gosling. I was so young and innocent that I thought Ryan really loved Rachel like they showed in the movie. From that day on, I prayed every night for I don’t know how many nights. I begged God to make me look like Rachel McAdams so that Ryan loves me too. And a few years later, there was this boy in my class in school who said I look like Rachel McAdams and he started calling me Rachel from then on. And then it kept happening. People who know me from middle school and high school still call me Rachel – not Gloria.
Wait! This is not the end of the story. Completely out of coincidence, my husband looks very much like Ryan Gosling. Back then, we worked at different branches of the same company. We had to talk on the phone for business. We had been talking for about a year when I asked him if he wanted to meet in person over a coffee. Before we met in person, I already had a slight crush on him. When I saw him, I was so shocked that he looked like Ryan Gosling. After a few months, he proposed, and now we’re married.
