CHERIMONYA
The cherimonya comes from South America and grows on trees. It’s also known as the ‘custard apple’. It’s a heart shaped fruit. On the outside it’s rough and bumpy and on the inside it’s smooth and creamy. A ripe cherimonya has the flavour of a banana and a pineapple.
POMELO
The pomelo comes from South and Southeast Asia and grows on trees. It looks like a big grapefruit. Its skin is green and its flesh is yellow. It has the flavour of a grapefruit without the sourness.
JABUTICABA
The Jabuticaba comes from Brazil and grows on branches and trunks of trees. It’s also known as the Brazillian tree grape. It’s the same size as a plum and has the same flavour as a grape. Its skin is black and its flesh is white.
