Exploring Cyprus

Two years ago, I went on holiday by myself for the first time in my life. It was fantastic. I decided to go to Cyprus because I heard from a friend that the weather was sunny there most of the time. I wanted to swim and sunbathe, so it sounded like a perfect place for me. Going on a holiday alone didn’t bother me because I made some new friends there and we did lots of things together. One day we visited museums and took many photos. Another day we explored new places and found ourselves in the middle of a nice beach. We swam and relaxed there. One day, we went shopping and bought some souvenirs for our family and friends. I bought something for my mum that I’m sure she’ll love. I couldn’t shop a lot because I forgot my credit card at home so I only used cash but that was enough for me. The only problem about the holiday was we didn’t go surfing because there wasn’t a lot of wind for good waves. Also the people there told me that there weren’t any good places to surf in Cyprus because of the weather. But we didn’t make it a big problem. We ate, drank and had so much fun.
