Family Camping Trip

I’m very excited because today we camp at the beach. The car is ready to go. Mom is packing the last few bags. My brother and I get into the car. He is only 10 years old. I worry he may annoy me. He doesn’t want to go because he can’t bring his video games. He loves electronics. When he is grumpy, he always bothers me. I put on my headphones and listen to my MP3 player, so I don’t have to listen to him complain! Soon, we arrive at the beach. Mom and Dad find a good spot and put up the tent. I get the sleeping bags and put them in the tent. We also get the food and water out. My brother stays in the car. He is still a little angry. Then, Dad has an idea. He gives my brother a camera and says, “You are the photographer on this trip!” My brother is really happy. He takes the camera and takes lots of photos! At the beach, we go swimming for a few hours. Then, we eat a picnic lunch of sandwiches and fruit salad for lunch. My brother takes photos underwater, too! My Dad’s camera is great! Look at this great picture of fish. Now I want to take some pictures, too!
