The Empire State Building

The Empire State Building was designed by an American architect named William Lamb. The building has 102 floors. It is featured in some of Hollywood’s biggest films, including King Kong and Sleepless in Seattle. It got its name from the nickname of New York State and is the icon of New York.

The Statue of Liberty

One of the most famous statues in the world stand on Liberty Island, in New York City. It is a gift from the people of France to the people of the United States to celebrate 100 years of American independence. The Statue of Liberty is a woman who holds a torch and a tablet. It is a symbol of freedom and liberty.

Sydney Opera House

One of the most famous symbols of Sydney, Australia is the Sydney Opera House.  It is white, and at its highest point, it is 67 meters high. What many people do not know is that it is the busiest performing arts centre in the world. Every year, it has theatre, musicals, opera, dance, and concerts. On average, it has 3000 events every year. Each year, two million people attend those events and 200,000 people take the tour of the Opera House. Opera House has almost 1000 rooms, including five main auditoriums. It also has rehearsal rooms, restaurants, bars, dressing rooms, a library, etc.
