WEST COAST CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL, CANADA

Last weekend, I went to Vancouver, in Canada, for the West Coast Chocolate Festival. It’s the biggest chocolate party in the world! The smell from over a hundred stalls was amazing and the taste was even better. They had whatever chocolate you like: dark, milk or white. My favourite is dark so I tried many kinds of it. Apart from eating chocolate, I had a massage with chocolate. Also, I joined a chocolate factory tour to see how chocolate is made.The festival was so crowded that it looked like a carnival. There were young performers, music and some competitions as well. People were dancing and kids were drawing pictures of chocolate. Some famous chefs were making recipes with their favourite chocolate. Everyone was enjoying themselves because they were in sweet heaven.Fiona, Toronto, Canada

GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL, ENGLAND

Last week, I was at the Glastonbury Festival. I was so excited because I’ve always wanted to go there. I first set up my tent early in the morning. Then, I joined the crowd! There were thousands of people, and queues for everything. The atmosphere was friendly and laid-back because everyone was in a good mood. Backstage crews were working to get things ready and musicians were tuning up for what seemed like hours. Glastonbury is England’s biggest music festival. It’s the best festival to see and listen to your favourite bands or singers live. Last week wasn’t an exception. I had the best time of my life. I was singing and dancing along with the music. There were many stages across the festival area. The only thing I was worried about was which concert to go to. I may have been a bit worried about the mud, too!Mel, Rome, Italy
