People in Scotland eat a lot of hot food because the weather is cold. They also like food from other countries. There are many Indian and Chinese restaurants. ‘Fish and Chips’ is their favourite food. It’s delicious! People in Scotland like biscuits, too.

France

France has got a lot of good food. It’s famous for its croissants and frogs’ legs. Many people from other countries say frogs’ legs are horrible. A popular snack in France is ‘croque monsieur’. That’s a hot sandwich with cheese and ham. French people love crepes with chocolate and banana for dessert.

Spain

In Spain people eat a lot of fish. Paella is a famous Spanish dish. It’s a healthy food and it has got chicken, fish and rice in it. There are tapas restaurants in Spain. In those restaurants, the waiter brings lots of different snacks on small plates.

The USA

Americans like Italian food very much. Pizza is one of their favourite foods. Spaghetti with cheese and tomato sauce is also very popular in the USA because it’s delicious and easy to cook. We all know that people in the USA eat lots of hamburgers. Other popular foods are hot dogs and fried chicken.
