Eggs: Doctors say that it’s OK to eat three or four eggs a week because it contains beneficial vitamin and protein. Egg yolks are one of the few foods that are a naturally good source of Vitamin D. But be careful because it also contains cholesterol and too much cholesterol isn’t very good for you.

 

Potatoes: Potatoes are OK, but we should be careful about chips and crisps. They aren’t good for our heart because they contain a lot of salt and extra fat.

 

Fish and Seafood: Fish and seafood are good for you. For example, tuna fish is rich in protein and it doesn’t contain much fat in it.

 

Salad and Vegetables: There are a lot of fibre and vitamins in salad and vegetables, so they are really good for you. You should consume them regularly to be fit and healthy, plus they are delicious.

 

Sausages: Eating too many sausages isn’t good for health because there’s a lot of fat in them.

 

Chocolate and Sweets: Most of us love chocolate, especially children. Parents sometimes give their kids chocolate or a candy bar as a reward. The thing they forget is they don’t contain fibre or protein, and they contain a lot of sugar. Too much sugar is bad for their teeth and health.

 

Fruit: Fresh fruit is excellent because it contains a lot of vitamins and there’s some natural sugar in fruit. But be careful, even though the sugar comes from this healthy source, you mustn’t consume a lot of fruit. It also causes you to put on weight.
