Four Seasons
Spring is a wonderful season. It comes and nature awakens from its winter sleep. The days become longer and the nights become shorter. The ground is covered with fresh green grass and the first season flowers. There are new leaves and flowers on the trees. The birds begin to sing and build their nests. The air is fresh and the sun shines pretty brightly. The days are warm and everything is full of life.
In summer nature surrounds us with all kinds of flowers. Sometimes the weather becomes extremely hot. People usually go on holiday in this season because they like swimming and sunbathing. If it rains in this season, you can see the rainbow in the sky. It is students’ favorite season because there’s no school!
In autumn/fall the most trees start changing color. Their leaves become yellow or brown. The days become shorter and the nights become longer. The sun lights are not so bright and warm. Farmers harvest sunflowers, potatoes, carrots and tomatoes. It is sometimes somewhat cloudy or rainy and sometimes fairly cool and windy. We say goodbye to birds that fly away to warm countries.
In winter the weather is getting colder day by day. Soft, white snowflakes start falling thick and fast covering the ground and roofs. As the weather gets cold and windy, people start wearing warm and thick clothes. Sometimes people wear gloves and scarves. There are lots of things you can do. You can go skiing, play snowball or build a snowman.
