From My Travel Log

I travel a lot, so I have the chance to see lots of places and learn new things. Here are two pages from

my travel log.

The Zócalo, Mexico City, Mexico

The main square in the middle of Mexico City is called the Zócalo. For more about 700 years, this square has been the gathering place for Mexican people. Every year more than 80 million people visit the Zócalo. It is an important site because all the city’s important gatherings, festivals, and exhibitions are held here.

Times Square, New York City, US

Times Square is famous for its lights on the streets, Broadways shows, big shops and people walking around to shop, to find a place to eat, to watch a film in a cinema and so on. Previously, it was called Longacre Square, but after the New York Times moved their offices to a building called Times Building, the City changed its name to Times Square in 1904. Every year more than 45 million people from around the US and world visit this magnificent place.
