FROM PARIS TO LONDON
Taking a trip from London to Paris (or from Paris to London) is popular for many tourists. These days there are many ways to go between the two cities.
Travelling by plane is the most common way. There are many airports in London and Paris, and many airlines, so there are a lot of choices. Some tickets are expensive, but many airlines also sell cheap tickets. Some tickets only cost around £40.
Some people hate flying. They are scared of it. For these people there are other options. The train is very comfortable and fast. It’s exciting because it travels under the sea. It’s convenient because it goes from the middle of London to the middle of Paris. Ticket prices start at about £50, but there are also very expensive tickets. It depends on the time and date.
If the train is too expensive, why not try the bus? Buses leave regularly from many places in London. They take a long time to get to Paris, but tickets are very cheap. They sometimes cost £10. The bus is very slow and uncomfortable, so it’s not a popular choice.
For very rich people, taking a taxi is also possible. A taxi from London to Paris will cost more than £650, but most taxi drivers don’t want to go.
