The High-Tech Living Room

In the living room, smart speakers will be a central feature. Today, many houses already have them but they will be connected to every element in your home, from the light bulbs to the lock on your front door to the thermostat. Watching TV and movies will be a different experience. We’ll have giant screens in our living rooms. That’s exactly what we have! However, we will be able to roll up the TV screen and carry it to any rooms we like. The living rooms will also have the furniture that remembers its owner. This sounds a bit confusing, doesn’t it? The sofas or armchairs will remember the residents’ preferences and arrange the heat and the length of themselves. The windows will arrange themselves when it’s night or morning.

Smart Cooking in the Kitchen

The goal of kitchen technology won’t be to do the cooking for you. It’ll just make you a better cook. Smart ovens will have cameras and digital thermometers and they will help you monitor your food as it bakes. Smart refrigerators will help reduce waste. They’ll let you know when the carrots in your fridge are about to go bad and offer up several recipes for them. The smart fridge will also send cooking instructions to your smart oven. The future fridge will inform you which food you need to buy before you arrive home.

Tech Enters the Bedroom

Once you’re up and moving, it’s time to get dressed: Your closet will be filled with clothes you don’t just wear. They will actually interact with you. They will track the seasons and even your habits. The closet will detect your skin temperature and provide heat accordingly. Your clothes will change shape or colour, and the closet will offer you the outfits according to your mood.

Bathroom

In the future, high-tech tubs will heat the water and fill itself with smells you like. They will also arrange the music and a hot towel for you.
