FUTURE LIFE

FUTURE LIFE

Linda, age 11:

If New York keeps going the way it is, it will be more crowded, with more traffic, worse air pollution, more litter and less green spaces. Bridges and subways will need even more repairs. We need to take care of the environment, reuse and recycle so we create less garbage. New Yorkers need to respect and love their city or the future will be dark for us all!

Dorian, age 8:

I think life will be cool in the future. When the weather is not so good, all you will need to do is push a button and your house will fly up above the clouds. All schools will have computers, and whenever you want to go somewhere quickly you’ll be able to take a hover board. Also, when your house is messy, you will be able to call your robot helper.

Barbara, age 10:

I think there is life on other planets. For a long time, people have thought about life on other planets and imagined the strange creatures that might inhabit them. Now that we can travel to space, perhaps someday we will be able to discover alien life. I would like to travel on a spaceship across the galaxy with my three hamsters. We will have special clothes to wear on the other planets in case there isn’t any oxygen.
