George and His Uncle

A poor man, George, lived in a small village. He didn’t like working a lot. He loved to relax but he also wanted to increase his money. He asked himself, “How can I do that?” He thought for a while and realised that his uncle was a very rich merchant. He could work with his uncle so he could learn that job.

His uncle was not an easy man. He made George carry heavy loads. George was very tired at the end of each day. In time, George began to feel better because he had more money. When he had enough money, he bought an enormous house for himself.
