Good habits, bad habits
Carleen: ‘I usually wake up late. I think it’s a bad habit because I often arrive at school late. I don’t like answering the school principal’s questions every day. She always asks, “Carleen, where were you? Why are you late again?” I can fix this problem with an alarm clock, but I always forget to set the alarm clock at night. My dad goes to work very early in the morning, and my mum always wakes up after 10am, so they can’t help me with this problem!’
Jason: ‘I always feel sick after I buy something from the canteen. I think there’s something in the biscuits and cakes there that I’m allergic to. My friends tell me not to buy anything from the school canteen, but I’m always hungry in the middle of the day. It’s because I don’t usually eat breakfast. I don’t get up late, but I’m a bit slow, so it often takes me an hour to put my books in my bag and get ready. I sometimes ask my sister for help, but she always says this isn’t her problem to fix!’
