Grace’s New Home

Layla: How’s your new flat, Grace?

Grace: I’m happy with it. It’s big, with one bedroom and one living room. The flat has got large windows,
so it’s not dark inside.

Layla: Oh, I really like that kind of home. Our house hasn’t got large windows.

Grace: Hmm, but I miss our garden.

Layla: Yeah, that’s one big problem with flats. That’s why we never live in flats.

Grace: My living room is big, though. My parents have got twelve armchairs and three big sofas.
We have enough space for all of them.

Layla: That’s really good. Our house has got lots of rooms, but they’re small. I really like big living rooms.
How about your kitchen? Do you like it?

Grace: It’s not bad, but I prefer the kitchen in my parents’ house.

Layla: I know. It’s so big with lots of cupboards and everything.

Grace: I’m usually not home, so I don’t need lots of things in the kitchen.
