What is an adjective? What is a noun?

I thought to myself while I was walking through town.
We use nouns for things like cats, trees and trucks.
We use adjectives to describe things like red cars and yellow ducks.
Verbs are words that do things, like run and sing and fly.
Syllables and letters are easy, and there's one of each in "I".
If you ever want to learn something about English grammar, it's better to ask your teacher than to try to ask a hammer.
