Grand Canyon

Walking in the woods is one of my favourite activities. It's called hiking. I go hiking with my family every weekend, and I like it a lot. Last weekend we went hiking in a very special place. It is called the Grand Canyon. It is a really big place in the American desert. It is almost 2000 meters deep. The temperature can be between -18 and 38 degrees! Lucky for us, it was 25 degrees. Lots of snakes live in the Grand Canyon, and they are pink! I didn't see any pink snakes, but my brother told me he saw a pink chicken. I didn't believe him. We ate our lunch on a bench near the edge of the canyon. My dad accidentally dropped his sandwich into the canyon. It fell and fell and fell. Before it hit the ground, a giant hawk caught the sandwich and flew away with it!
