Greg and Music
Greg went to a primary school in New York. He was shorter than his friends and he wasn’t very strong. He didn’t have any favourite sport or many friends. Most of the time he was alone at school.
On Saturdays, Greg usually stayed at home. His mum wanted him to go and play at the park, but the answer was always negative. Greg was happy at home actually, because he had an interesting hobby. He loved playing the violin. He liked sitting under a tree in their garden and he played his instrument. Nobody thought him how to play it, but he was very good at it. After he heard a song once, he could play it. He also created his own songs.
One day, Greg was playing his violin in an empty class after the school. Some of his classmates heard the wonderful music and they stopped and listened to it. Janice and Brian looked at each other because it was their favourite song from Britney Spears. After some time, they wanted to talk to Greg.
“How did you learn that?” asked Brian.
“I learned by myself,” Greg answered.
“Wow, that’s cool!” said Janice. “Can you play other songs?
“Sure,” said Greg.
That moment was special because after that day Greg made a lot of new friends. Soon, all his classmates knew about his special hobby. He wasn’t alone anymore.
He was happy and so were his parents.
