Greg' s PE Teacher

Carleen Atkinson is our PE teacher this year. She’s my favourite teacher for some reasons.

First of all, she’s our neighbour. She hasn’t got a car, so every morning we wait for the school bus together. I don’t wake up very early, but she does. She wakes up at 5.30 and goes running. Then, she has breakfast, gets dressed and leaves her house. I leave my house at 8 o’clock, and she’s always there next to the road.

I have three PE lessons every week—on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. She’s very good at volleyball. I want to be like her in the future, so I always practise volleyball hard.

Miss Atkinson and I never come home together in the afternoon, because she stays at school and does other things. Sometimes I see her come home in the evening or late at night. After school, she usually teaches private volleyball lessons. I think she loves her job. I want to be a PE teacher, too.
