HALLOWEEN TIME!

Be careful on the night of the 31st of October! This is the night when witches and ghosts come out! Children make lanterns out of pumpkins. They dress up in white sheets and masks and have parties. They sometimes go to people’s houses and knock on the door, saying “Trick or treat!” People give the children a treat, usually some sweets or chocolate. If not, the children play a trick on them. For example, they draw a funny picture on the door, or throw flour at the window.
