Scientists say that it is healthy to eat snacks between meals, but what kind of snacks? The size of portions and the type of food make a difference. If you get hungry between lunch and dinner, you can eat some fresh fruits such as a green apple, a banana or a carrot. You can also have nuts like almonds, hazelnuts and walnuts. If you have a sweet tooth, you can try dried figs or raisins. However, it’s not a good idea to have chocolate bars, crisps or gummy bears. If you love these things, you can have them once a week.
After dinner, before you go to bed is a bad time to eat snacks. You should be very careful. You shouldn’t eat fruits because they contain too much sugar. The best snack to have before bedtime is yoghurt. It keeps you full and it’s healthy.
When it comes to drinks, it’s a good idea to keep away from fizzy drinks like coke. It contains so much sugar. You can have a cup of coffee in the morning for energy. However, if you drink coffee in the evening, you will have difficulty in sleeping. You should drink a lot of water throughout the day. It is the most important part of any healthy diet. Soda is also good for our bodies.
