HEROES OF THE WORLD

Firefighters are heroes. A lot of children want to become firefighters because they are risk-takers. They take risks to save other people’s lives. Firefighters do a lot of things. They put out fires, help trapped people or animals, and find out the cause of a fire. Firefighters wear special suits when they work and drive a red truck. They are very brave people who save our lives.

Doctors take care of people’s health. They are heroes because they treat us when we feel sick. They examine the parts of the body, listen to the heart using a stethoscope. They work together with nurses in hospitals. They use x-ray machines to check parts of our body. They can also perform surgery. They are very hardworking people and important for our health.
