Hi, Emma

Hi, Emma

Hi, Emma.

How are you? I can’t wait to visit you in America this year. I haven’t been to New York before. I’m excited to see the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building. Is it true that Central Park is so big it takes two days to walk around it?

This past school year was so great. We learned a lot of interesting things and visited some cool places. I think my favourite memories are from our class camping trip. I love nature . We went to the local mountains. The park rangers came and taught us how to camp. I learned how to make a fire, put up a tent and cook fish. My friends Hannah and Amir didn’t want to touch the fish, so I helped them.

My second-best memory is our class trip to the zoo. The zookeepers showed us some animals in their pens . We got to feed the giraffes from buckets . I felt so small standing next to them. Later, we got to see two lion cubs at the vet’s. They were getting a check-up to make sure they were healthy. How was your school year? I hope it was good. Aunt Beth and Uncle Mathew say hello. Write back soon!

Love from your cousin,

Thomas
