History Teacher

Mrs Smith is a history teacher. Nowadays, she lives in Egypt. She has a very special book about the pyramids. She wants to learn the mystery behind them. Mary had an interview with her for the school magazine.

Mary: Hello. How long have you been a history teacher?

Mrs Smith: Since 2009.

Mary: Where are you from?

Mrs Smith: England.

Mary: How long have you lived in Egypt?

Mrs Smith: For about five months.

Mary: How long have you had this book about pyramids?

Mrs Smith: Since my birthday, ten months ago. My friend Jenny bought it for me.

Mary: Are you trying to learn the mystery behind the pyramids by yourself?

Mrs Smith: No, Jenny is always with me. I’ve known her since I was eighteen.
