Holidays With My Family

In my family, everybody likes to do some type of sport. My mum and dad are very good at playing volleyball. We usually play a lot of volleyball at the beach during our summer holidays. My mum can also swim and windsurf very well. My dad is a good swimmer but he can’t do windsurfing. He says he doesn’t like falling into the water. We usually spend our summer holidays by the sea, so my sister Eliza and I can swim very well. I’m not interested in windsurfing, but Eliza can windsurf just as well as mum.
In autumn and winter, we usually go camping in the mountains. We like being in nature. I can climb trees to pick fruit. Eliza can climb up rock faces. It looks a little dangerous, but she wears special shoes, a belt and a rope to keep herself safe. It’s usually cold on the mountain and we stay in a tent. My dad can make campfires using sticks and logs, and mum can cook meals on the fire. There is a horse riding club near our campsite. We see families riding horses in the woods. It looks so amazing. I wish I could ride a horse but I can’t. Maybe next time we go camping I can take some horse riding lessons, too.
