You can see gorgeous homes and interiors when you watch a movie or read magazines. Thanks to the media, we have an idea about all the luxurious homes, but what we see on the screen can differ from reality. All countries have different home styles.

Tokyo is one of the most populated and expensive cities in the world. In Tokyo, only the wealthy people can live in spacious places while the rest of the population live in one-bedroom apartments. The only room in the apartment is usually used as a bedroom, living room and dining room.

In Spain, people prefer to live in apartment blocks with white walls, stone floors and windows with shutters to prevent heat in summer. Spanish apartments tend to have big kitchens, but the meals are usually served in the living room.

Most English people prefer living in the city houses rather than blocks of flats. Fighting with the cold, the English make their homes cozy and chic. They try their best to keep interior heat, so they have carpets in every room.

Australians prefer living in their big houses with three bedrooms. In a typical house, there is a living room, kitchen, bathroom and a garage. All doors are made of glass.

The average floor space per person in the USA is the highest in the world. In the USA, the houses are really big with almost everything you need. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms in a house are usually the same. The interior design of the American houses should look both cozy and expensive.
